Plant Maintenance Technician

The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing the various duties to repair, troubleshoot and maintain all production facility equipment, utilizing proper skilled techniques to assure the safe, efficient operations of all plant machinery.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/or mobile equipment

  • Perform basic mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repairs of production machines.

  • Ability to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals or blueprints.

  • Maintain current an in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position. Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations, take appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others in the building.

  • Adhere to the company's Safe Quality Food practices and standards.

What is expected of you and others at this level:

  • ​Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to recognize problems.

  • Work with minimal to moderate degrees of supervision.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required, Associates degree preferred

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.

  • Able to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs.

  • Working conditions could include: dust, damp, moderate noise and uneven surfaces.

Semi Truck Driver

We are currently hiring for a Truck Driver position for a dedicated route. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working as part of a team and has a clean driving record. It's important to be reliable, have excellent communication skills and be able to work together with other employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive trucks to transport feed.

  • Drive a truck in adverse weather conditions.

  • Drive trucks to pick up feed ingredients.

  • Drive trucks to haul grain.

  • Climbing feed bins

Experience:

  • 1 year driving semi trucks

Requirement:

  • CDL-A is required
